It’s been on the cards for a while now, but perhaps this year Eden really has dealt the hand that will lead the resurgence of San Antonio.
If the hype is to be believed, poaching Pete Tong from Pacha for a weekly Friday night trip to Wonderland will be the boldest bravest and downright ballsyest move ever and may just be enough to make San Antonio a desirable holiday destination again (?)
All of which is to be seen as the summer pans out, but meanwhile there is no denying that this summer Eden has one of the strongest British line-ups this side of the Balearics.
Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, Pete Tong and Groove Armada as weekly residents, not to mention, Garlands, Twice as Nice, Tidy and Koolwaters.
This year also sees seminal Manchester rave club the Hacienda take up residency in the second room every Wednesday, bringing with them the likes of Graeme Park, Jon Da Silva and the legendary Hooky.
Friday nights, besides the man like Pete Tong, will also bring fellow resident Jo Mills and guest slots from Secret Sundaze…not to be missed.
Obviously, though easy to forget, there are still other days in the week, and by getting your tickets early you’ll avoid the nasty queues, waltz right in as if you own the place, and quite possibly never want to leave.
Of course, you could also splash out on a very reasonably priced VIP table, get yourself and your friends right up close to the action in the brand new area behind the booth, and find yourself sipping champagne next to Pete himself.
